FlowCAD supports students from universities, schools and other educational institutes. On FlowCAD Online University page you will find free of charge information, recommended literature as well as links to YouTube tutorials including test circuits to be downloaded. Students can apply for free licenses for educational purpose only. There is also a program for professors and teachers.
In the installation of PSpice some circuits are already included as examples. The examples can be found in the menu under Help > Learning PSpice. Each of these examples explain in English the theory of a circuit and gives a step-by-step guide to simulation. The circuit diagram and the simulation models are all already installed and can be used immediately.
Quickstart documents (SPB22.1 and 17.4) provide easy to understand instructions, especially for first-time users of Cadence PCB Tools. They do not represent complete operating instructions or training documents.
Look into Readme first and then choose according to your needs, between provided pdf tutorials or complete package in form of a zip file with installer, library and design data.

CapacitorBelow you see a selection of basic electronic circuits. There is a link for a video tutorial, which describes the behaviour of this circuit. The circuit is ready for simulation in PSpice and can be downloaded for free as a .zip file. You can easily reproduce the circuit simulation results and exchange components and settings to better understand the circuit for your own education.

FlowCAD is often asked which books about PCB layout or signal integrity are recommended. We have listed here some books that our application engineers have read themselves and whose content we subjectively consider to be useful. This list is not exhaustive and FlowCAD has no commercial use for these book recommendations. If authors think that their books should be included here, please send us a preview copy. We will read and include it here if necessary.
