Introduction

FlowCAD - the chromatography diagramming solution - is available in three editions:

• FlowCAD Standard Edition - Allows you to create and visualize your own flow diagrams, and automate a sequence of FlowCAD drawings or state diagrams into a complete representation of a process.

• FlowCAD Professional Edition - builds on the standard edition by allowing you to create and distribute your own royalty free library elements.
  

• FlowCAD OEM Edition - individually personalized for the instrument or accessory manufacturer, this edition is embellished and customized to support your business. Includes the ability to create and distribute your own royalty free library elements.

FlowCAD is supplied with a comprehensive library of auto-connecting, intelligent elements for GC, IC, CE, and HPLC modules, plus detectors, injection valves, column switchers, solvent selectors and other valving systems.

These intelligent elements support the operational states appropriate to the systems, for instance an HPLC injection valve element supports the interconnections and states for "Valve Load" and "Valve Inject", and these are used to visualize the flow paths. The library of elements will be extended as new instrument modules and accessories appear, and FlowCAD OEM allows developers to create their own custom made elements for special systems.
